Undead Dragon -remake-

Huzzah! After almost half a year’s worth of procrastination I finally finished this picture! I started this picture a long while ago. It is a remake of a picture I did a couple years ago that can be found waaaaaaaaaaay at the back of my gallery. Since I worked really hard on the old one all that time ago, I wanted to give my all in this version too. This meant a lot of work though; so after I started it I had a hard time summoning up the motivation to finish it and just got caught up in other projects instead. After I was finally able to get my ass to work though, I was able to put every scrap effort I possibly could into this picture, thus creating what I think to be one of my best pictures to date. ^-^ My mom says she wants to frame it and hang it somewhere. I wonder what guests would think about seeing a decaying, rancid, dragon zombie hanging on the wall. XD

It took me many layers of pencil crayon to get the picture this dark. D: I swear, if I forced one more pencil crayon onto that paper it would tear to shreds. I still wasn’t able to get rid of the graininess in the background though. -_- Anyone have any tips for killing graininess other than using smoother paper? Also, I tried using green highlights from my dragon’s toxic zombie breath. I don’t think I’ve used this type of lighting before, so if anyone has any tips about that I’d like to hear them too. I think it came out really well on the rock, but it looks better on the dragon in some paces than others.
